The idea was so strongly instilled in my consciousness that I could not rest until I took the first step for it. Dreaming is much easier than getting it done! I would not have been able to take the first step without the timely help of so many people. I cannot name everybody here, but still there a few I cannot miss.
My respects to my parents & Gurus.
As the name of the school is Sri Vageeshwari, I wanted to have Saraswathi’s picture for the website. There was an image of Saraswathi in my consciousness and I wanted to have that for the school logo. Easier said than done! We tried to Google it first, but did not find any that matched with my imagination. And that is when we decided to talk to Gireesh ettan, an amazing artist who happened to live very close to us (Girish Nair – http://www.artnpassion.com). We went to his home and I found it difficult to bring my imagination to words. However, Gireesh ettan assured me that he understood… A couple of months passed and on a fine evening Gireesh ettan sent the soft copy of the painting. Literally, I could not believe my eyes. It was so overwhelming for me that I could not say anything for a few seconds!!! It was exactly as I had imagined, the beautiful, elegant Sri Vageeshwari, her hair unkempt, completely immersed in the music from the Veena she is playing. For me, this is the perfect “Sri Vageeshwari”. And I could not have wished for a better logo for this school. Words cannot express my gratitude for this. Thank you Girsh ettaa!!
I would like to take a moment to thank Sri Tomy Thomas sir for the timely help when I was looking for the right teachers.
Hugs & kisses to my six year old son who enthusiastically drew a doodle for the website and love to my husband and to my “singing buddies” who always listened and encouraged even my silliest ideas. As I said, these are just a few and there are many many more who helped me directly or indirectly with this venture. And I thank them all.
Lastly, I bow down to my Guruvayoorappan who is working his magic through me. Narayana the namo namo!!
